Prairie North Health Region works hard to prevent and control the spread of healthcare associated infections. Regional leadership is provided through our Infection Prevention and Control Program. The goal of the Program is to improve patient outcomes by preventing and controlling the spread of healthcare associated infections and to promote awareness of the principles of preventing and controlling spread of infection among staff, patients/residents/clients and visitors.
